BikeHead Online Product Catalog

When we started working with bicycle retailers under the name BikeHead.com, we noticed that while each retailer sold a huge variety of products, none of these products were found on their websites. They didn't want to add each product by hand because it would take forever and would be a bear to manage. We asked them "if you had a master database of products that you could drag over to your website and the tools to easily manage them, would you use it?" To a one they said yes!

So we built a database of bicycle products. We automated much of the data-entry drudgery so that it didn't take a long time to build our master catalog of 1000's of product specs, pictures, descriptions, colors and sizes.  We built management tools that make it easy for retailers to build and manage their own custom product catalog and integrate it into their exisiting website. It's called the BikeHead Online Product Catalog and it's primarily promoted under our BikeHead.com website. Although it's currently only for bicycle retailers, we're are considering offering a similar service to another niche of online retailers.
