Development Process
Step 1: Conversations
We begin with conversations about your business. We can help you get the most out of your web presence once we know your business practices and goals. This approach often reveals opportunities that you never considered. It also allows us to avoid costly miscommunication-related mistakes and ultimately saves time. Oh yeah, and it's fun :-) We enjoy getting to know how each business operates, collectively putting our heads together to figure out how the web can take your business further.
Step 2: Proposal
Once we have all the requirements down we write up a detailed proposal. The proposal is free. You'll find our proposals are very competitive, especially given the quality of our end product.
Step3: Design
This step involves creating designs, getting feedback from you, then refining the designs accordingly. It can go fast or slow, depending on the design and your "vision" of your web application or website.
Step 4: Development/Function
We often begin development in parallel with design, then merge the design and function later in the process. This step is usually more straight forward as it is easier to tightly define when compared to the more subjective world of design.
Step 5: Review
We present the final product to you, then you decide whether it meets the requirements outlined in our initial proposal.
Step 6: Debugging
A "bug" is anything that doesn't work according to the requirements outlined in our original proposal. More complex the web applications have more moving parts, offering more opportunities for bugs to occur. We do our best to squash them before the product is completed, but when they do come up we fix them fast and for free.
